The Milkyway is home to the most well-known races. Species from the Milkyway are more commonly humanoid, deviating to other uncommon forms less often than the other galaxies.
Andromeda is home to a multitude of reptilian races. Although reptilian species are the most common other races do take different forms. This galaxy is also known for its general lack of humanoid races, save a couple.
Races from other origins, such as alternate galaxies or other layers of space, tend to deviate from the norm quite significantly if not in appearance, then in their racial abilities.
